Honda has announced that the all-new HR-V, which is set to go on sale across Europe from late 2021, will solely be equipped with the company’s advanced e:HEV hybrid powertrain. By introducing the proven powertrain to the compact SUV, a new blend of efficiency and performance has been introduced to this highly competitive class.
Honda revealed the 2022 Civic Hatchback tonight, the latest addition to the all-new 11th-generation Civic lineup. Building on the 2022 Civic Sedan that arrived in Honda dealerships earlier this month, the most fun-to-drive Civic Hatchback ever combines striking, Euro-inspired exterior styling and five-door versatility with an even sportier driving experience. Available with a 6-speed manual transmission, Civic Hatchback is designed to meet the needs of young, active buyers. It will be built in the U.S. for the first time, with production to begin later this year atHonda's Greensburg, Indiana auto plant.
The 2020 Honda Civic Type R begins arriving at U.S. Honda dealerships with notable upgrades to ride and handling, braking performance and engine cooling. And Honda's first-ever performance datalogging app, available exclusively for use with Civic Type R, arrives this spring. The upgraded 2020 Type R also boasts freshened exterior and interior styling, standard Honda Sensing safety and driver-assistive technology, and a stunning new Boost Blue exterior color, with a Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $36,995 (not including taxes and destination).Since its U.S. introduction in 2017, Civic Type R has gathered near universal acclaim for its combination of potent dynamic performance and day-to-day driving civility. The Type R TC is designed as a turn-key solution for professional racers, and for skilled Type R enthusiasts who wish to transition from track time in a stock Type R to a fully built race car. Eligible for SRO TC Americas Touring Car competition, the all-new Type R TC race car is available to Honda Racing Line members with racing licenses exclusively through HPD at a manufacturer's price of $89,900. The specially outfitted Type R joins the TCA-class Civic Si and TCR-class Type R in HPD's portfolio of Civic-based, turn-key racing machines.Designed specifically for TC-class competition, the Civic Type R TC was developed and tested in-house by HPD engineers as a modified version of the production Civic Type R designed exclusively for track use, with final assembly done by Gradient Racing in Austin, Texas. HPD engineers developed and tested the Civic Type R TC race car in-house, drawing on experience gained from production car and race vehicle engineering, including development of the HPD Civic Si TCA race car. The HPD-developed Civic Type R race car begins life as a body in white from Honda's Swindon, England, plant, and uses its road- and track-proven 2.0-liter VTEC Turbo engine supplied by the Honda of America Mfg. engine plant in Anna, Ohio, producing between 270 and 330 horsepower, depending on the series application.
