The International Criminal Court said on Friday it issued an arrest warrant for Russian President Vladimir Putin for war crimes because of his alleged involvement in abductions of children from Ukraine. FRANCE 24's Fernande van Tets reports from Amsterdam.
Ukraine is taking steps to open an office of the International Criminal Court, as Kyiv says it has registered more than 70,000 war crimes since fighting began.
The new hub will be based in the Dutch city of the Hague.
The Ukraine Accountability Conference was held in The Hague in the Netherlands, with the aim of ensuring that atrocities committed in Ukraine do not go unpunished.
