Taiwan officially launches redesigned passports to avoid confusion with mainland China

Taipei, Jan 11 (EFE/EPA).- The Government of Taiwan Monday started issuing the redesigned passports that emphasized the word "Taiwan" instead of the official name "Republic of China" to avoid confusion with the Chinese passports.
