Images show the port of Dover on the first day after the Brexit transition period ends and the UK officially leaves the EU single market. Scores of heavy goods vehicles have passed through the Channel Tunnel connecting Britain and France "without any problem", its operator has said, dispelling fears of immediate snarl-ups as Brexit took effect.
