Five Catalan separatist leaders who won election to the Spanish parliament last month were temporarily released from jail to be sworn in as lawmakers. But the five men, who are on trial for their role in an October 2017 Catalonian secession attempt, could see their mandates quickly suspended by the assembly because of their legal situation.
