US House delivers Trump Impeachment articles to Senate, amid Republican senators’ hesitation

Democrats from the United States’ House of Representatives have delivered their Impeachment case against Donald Trump to the Senate. But Republican senators, who voiced their anger over the former president’s stance after his supporters stormed the Capitol on January 6, seem to be calming their criticism of Donald Trump and scaling back the calls to convict him over the deadly siege in Washington, as FRANCE 24’s Kethevane Gorjestani reports from the US capital.
