Madrid, Sep 20 (EFE) .- Spain sent 12.6 tons of humanitarian aid to Sudan on Sunday to alleviate the effects of the floods on the population and in response to a call to the international community from the Sudanese government.A plane loaded with 12.6 tons of humanitarian material took off from the Torrejón de Ardoz Air Base in Madrid and will arrive in Khartoum with more than a hundred family tents, some 1,300 tarp shelters and about 3,000 jerrycans.FOOTAGE OF THE PLANE CARRYING HUMANITARIAN AID.SOUNDBITES OF ÁNGELES MORENO BAU, STATE SECRETARY FOR INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION:"We are facing a food emergency, a public health emergency, and also a housing emergency.
