Ghana's opposition 'stands by' decision to reject election results

The General Secretary of Ghana's opposition party the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Asiedu Nketiah, announces that his party is maintaining its "original position to reject the Presidential results as declared by the electoral commission." President Nana Akufo-Addo won a second term with 51.59 percent of the vote, beating longtime NDC rival John Mahama who garnered 47.36 percent, according to official results announced on Wednesday.
