This adorable Amur tiger cub has made an unlikely new, and much smaller friend. The cub, named 'Sherkhan' after the tiger in the jungle book, played with his new friend, a ferret named 'Rokki', much to the amazement of his caretaker. The amusing pair built on their friendship in Shkotovo, in Russia's Far East, where Sherkhan is being raised. Making friends with other animals apparently runs in the family. Sherkhan is the son of a very famous tiger who hit global headlines after he made friends with a goat, 'Timur,' at the Primorski Safari Park in November 2015.
One sheep farmer in Russia's Dagestan uses an unusual animal to keep his flock in order. Masha the lioness, who made friends with a flock of lambs when she was just six months old, has grown into a fully-fledged lioness, and farmer Bayrambek Rahimov now counts on her friendship to herd his sheep.
