With lifts still closed, French ski resorts are offering alternative activities to try to recoup some of their losses

Description

French alpine resorts in the Haute-Savoie may be deprived of downhill skiing this season due to the ongoing lift closures but plenty of alternative activities are on offer in a bid to keep tourism going despite the virus. In Les Contamines-Montjoie, Héléna, Manon, Charles and their parents declare themselves delighted to "discover other sports and other ways of living in the mountains".
