Snowball fights and street gritters as Brittany wakes up to snow

The French city of Rennes wakes up under a thin coating of snow. Authorities had placed the Brittany region under a "snow-ice" orange alert but snowfall was lighter than expected. Gritters meanwhile were out in force, as were those keen to have a snowball fight. IMAGES
