Interrogée après la démission surprise de Nicolas Hulot ce matin, l’ancienne ministre de l’Ecologie Corinne Lepage (1995-1997) estime que ce départ signe un « échec total d’Emmanuel Macron » en matière d’environnement. Corinne Lepage, qui avait pourtant soutenu le candidat Macron en 2017, rappelle qu’elle « savait qu’Emmanuel Macron n’était pas un écologiste mais pensait que cet homme d’une grande intelligence était capable de comprendre les nouveaux enjeux et de modifier son logiciel et c'est là-dessus qu’[elle s’est] trompé ». Concernant Nicolas Hulot, elle considère qu’il « a permis quelques avancées modestes mais elles existent. Peut-être ne faut-il pas trop attendre de ce gouvernement et des gouvernements en général. La société civile est le moteur des grandes avancées, comme sur le glyphosate aux USA ». Interview : Alain MORVAN.
