HK leader says government won't yield to escalating violence

Hong Kong's unpopular leader Carrie Lam says escalating violence will not make the government "yield to pressure to satisfy the so-called political demands". She was speaking after Monday turned out to to be one of the most violent days of clashes seen since pro-democracy unrest erupted more than five months ago. IMAGES
