It surely represents a memorial, it has a symbolic value of this reality that we don't understand yet."

  • Thumbs up! Rembrandt painting with artist's fingerprints to go under the hammer 

    A 17th-century oil sketch, believed to contain the fingerprints of the Dutch artist Rembrandt van Rijn, will go under the hammer in London next week. As the prints were found on the original work, there is a high chance he was handling it while the paint was still wet. The painting is estimated to fetch up to £8 million pounds (€8.9 million; $10 million).

    In their quest for proof, UFO watchers have turned their attention to a 17th-century Georgian fresco of Jesus Christ’s crucifixion in the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral in Mtskheta, because of two strange objects painted in the upper part of the Byzantine style painting which look suspiciously like flying saucers. Artist Grigorii Guldzhavarashvili depicted two semicircular objects with three tails just under the hands of Jesus, and they are at the center of the speculation.
