Notre-Dame parishioners celebrate Christmas mass at Saint-Germain l'Auxerrois church in Paris, near the Louvre, as the cathedral remains inaccessible since a massive fire in April. IMAGES
Images show Pope Francis stepping onto the balcony of St.Peter's Basilica at the Vatican to deliver his annual Christmas Day "Urbi and Orbi" mass. During his speech, he called for an end to "to every war, to the very mindset of war, an aimless voyage, a defeat without victors, an inexcusable folly". IMAGES
Under high security, a mass is given for All Saints' Day in the Basilica of Notre-Dame in Nice, where three people were killed in a knife attack three days ago. The ceremony began with a tribute to the victims. IMAGES
