The new Mercedes-Benz A-Class is as youthful and dynamic as ever, but grown-up and comfortable like never before. It completely redefines modern luxury in the compact class, and revolutionises interior design. Technologically the new A-Class not only takes first place thanks to MBUX - Mercedes-Benz User Experience: it also offers a number of functions that were previously the preserve of the luxury class. Sure to attract attention after unveiling the GLC SUV, Mercedes-Benz has presented the GLC Coupé. The next generation of the successful model skilfully and intricately combines the sportiness of a coupé with the functionality of an SUV. The result is a vehicle for individualists who attach maximum importance to extraordinary looks, the greatest possible freedom and pioneering technology. Innovative technologies, intelligent driving assistance systems and a new engine line-up make the Coupé a paragon of sportiness, safety and efficiency.The Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupé impresses with its distinctive appearance, innovative driving assistance systems, a new engine line-up and the latest generation of the MBUX Mercedes-Benz User Experience infotainment system with its wide range of control options. The enhanced driving assistance systems have been expanded by adding an exit-warning function, emergency-corridor function and tail-end-of-traffic-jam function, among others. Also new is Trailer Manoeuvring Assist, which provides assistance when manoeuvring in reverse.The Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupé is characterised by its dynamic appearance and elegant lines. Hallmark off-road features include the dominant front end, powerful forms and standard-fit chrome details like the front and rear underride guards. Its coupé character shines through in the squat silhouette with the dropping roof line and rounded rear window. Highlights at the front end include the powerfully contoured diamond radiator grille with integrated star and single louvre typical of a coupé, complemented by the distinctive air intakes and the new contours of the standard-fit LED High Performance headlamps.
Sharpened vehicle dynamics, optimum connectivity, operation via gesture control: Mercedes-AMG is updating the successful GLC63 4MATIC+ models (fuel consumption combined: 12.4-12.1 l/100 km (22.8-23.3mpg); combined CO2 emissions: 283-275 g/km) . The SUV and coupé are being given a new, even more distinctive light design as well as the MBUX infotainment system with AMG-specific functions and displays. The new dynamic handling control AMG DYNAMICS and the locking differential, which is now controlled electronically on all models as standard, facilitate even more versatile driving experiences. The SUV and coupé are also the only vehicles in the competitive environment to be driven by an eight-cylinder biturbo. Maximum driving pleasure is also ensured by the air suspension with adaptive damping adjustment, the all-wheel drive with fully variable torque distribution and the high-performance compound brake system. The mid-size performance SUV also offers plenty of space for passengers and luggage, a variable interior, extensive safety features and a high level of comfort on long journeys.With an officially measured and notarised lap time of 7.49.369 minutes, the Mercedes-AMG GLC63 S 4MATIC+ (combined fuel consumption: 12.4 l/100 km (22.8mpg); combined CO2 emissions: 283 g/km) is currently the fastest SUV in the world on the North Loop of the Nürburgring."The lap record on the North Loop has proven to impressive effect that the GLC63 is right at the top of its segment in terms of vehicle dynamics. With our V8 biturbo, we hold a decisive USP in the competitive environment. With AMG DYNAMICS we were able to hone the vehicle dynamics even more and also further increase the suitability for everyday use and the connectivity with MBUX. The new Mercedes-Benz B-Class puts the emphasis on sport with the Sports Tourer. It looks more dynamic than its predecessor and is more agile on the road while offering greater comfort and space. The transverse-mounted version of the two-litre OM 654 diesel engine model series with 110 kW and 140 kW celebrates a clean debut: It is the first engine to fulfil the Euro 6d norm, which is only mandatory for new models as of 2020. The eight-speed dual-clutch transmission also makes its début. The avant-garde interior of the B-Class ensures a unique feeling of spaciousness with the distinctive design of the instrument panel. The intuitive user interface of the adaptive MBUX multimedia system is ground-breaking. Its strengths include brilliant graphics, "Hey Mercedes" voice control, a standard touch screen and functions such as MBUX Augmented Reality. State-of-the-art driving assistance systems give the B-Class one of the highest standards of active safety in the segment with functions carried over from the S-Class. Start of sales for the new B-Class is 3 December 2018, with delivery due to begin in February 2019."More practical than ever, more chic than ever," is how Britta Seeger, Member of the Board of Management of Daimler AG, responsible for Mercedes-Benz Cars Sales, characterises the new B-Class. The designers' brief was to make the new B-Class stand out visually from the world of minivans. That brief was accepted and executed, with the long wheelbase (2729 mm) with short overhangs, slightly lowered roof line and larger, 16- to 19-inch wheels making for dynamic proportions. The relatively squat, progressive front end with flowing transition from bonnet to A-pillar and on to the windscreen, along with the muscular shoulder of the body, underlines the sporty overall look.The same is true of the low-profile headlamps, the inside of which is already high-grade, detailed and precisely designed on the basic model with H7 headlamps and LED daytime running lights. When ordered with LED headlamps or higher, the B-Class comes with its own daytime running light signature in the form of a double torch. The optional MULTIBEAM LED headlamps have an especially sporty look. They allow fast, electronically controlled adjustment of the headlamps to suit the current traffic conditions. This feature from the luxury class, which made its début in the compact segment in the new A-Class, now produces striking looks and added safety also in the new B-Class.
