Ships, planes and submarines are in Norway for NATO's annual submarine warfare exercise that will take place in the North Sea for the next 10 to 14 days. Deborah Lutterbeck reports.
Swedish Defence Minister Pal Jonson says the "northern flank of NATO is more complete" as he holds a press conference with his Norwegian and Finnish counterparts in Troms, Norway. US Secretary of State Antony Blinken urges Kosovar and Serbian leaders to ease tensions, warning they were putting aspirations of European integration at risk. "We call on the governments of Kosovo and Serbia to take immediate steps to de-escalate tensions," Blinken tells reporters at NATO talks in Oslo. IMAGES
The participants at a NATO Foreign Ministers' meeting in the Norwegian capital Oslo pose for a group photo. The meeting's agenda is dominated by the provision of security guarantees to Ukraine after its war with Russia ends, as the alliance looks to narrow divisions over Kyiv's push to join the bloc.
