Police sirens could be heard blaring through Downtown Manhattan as the new Nissan Police Pursuit 23 made its way to the New York International Auto Show, on Wednesday. The 565-horsepower 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged V-6 can power the monstrous vehicle to reach speeds of up to 196 miles per hour and rocket the car from 0 to 60 in 2.7 seconds, so it's no wonder that Nissan's new 'crime-busting' GT-R sports car has been dubbed 'Copzilla'.
Nissan CEO Carlos Ghosn unveiled details of the latest model of the second-generation Nissan Leaf at the Consumer Electronics Show 2017 and introduced the company's new system for handling self-driving cars, dubbed Seamless Autonomous Mobility, or SAM. Developed with NASA tech, SAM is set to connect the autonomous vehicle with human support at a control centre in a bid to deal with unexpected situations that the car's internal system cannot handle alone.

Speaking at a press conference in London, Makoto Uchida says he's "very confident that this new structure will deepen mutual trust," and will "ensure that each member contributes with their strengths and works with shared ambitions."
