Hundreds of costumed revelers are hitting the streets of Rio de Janeiro to celebrate Carnival, despite fears of the rapidly spreading Zika virus. Nathan Frandino reports.
Millions of people worldwide dressed up and danced during carnival this weekend. Although Carnival is mainly fun, dancing and drinking, it also addressed current issues.
A British company Oxitec may have a way to fight Zika virus. They create genetically modified mosquitoes that produce offspring that will not survive into adulthood.
The famous Brazilian carnival kicks off while there is huge outbreak of Zika virus in the country and across the continent.
