After Trump ditches Iran deal, papers say "Go on without him"

May 10, 2018 Part I: US-North Korea relations continue to warm after Secretary of State Mike Pompeo visits Pyongyang, bringing home three American hostages. This in spite of fears that by shredding up the Iranian nuclear deal Donald Trump has also damaged trust in American promises. It certainly has European leaders scrambling to salvage the ailing accord - an opportunity, writes French paper Libération, "to transform Europe into a power that is not only economic, but political."
