A new anti-Semitism? French open letter sparks controversy

Description

Is France subject to a new form of anti-Semitism? The recent murder of an 85-year old Holocaust survivor by intruders who shouted "Allah Akbar" has now been followed by an open letter that denounces a new form of anti-Semitism and calls on Muslims to renounce writings in the Coran that incite to hatred and murder of Jews. That's triggered a sharp backlash in the country that's home to Europe's largest Muslim and largest Jewish population. Is anti-Semitism on the rise in France?
