French PM calls for "discussions to continue" between Veolia and Suez

Description

French Prime Minister Jean Castex asks that "discussions continue" between Veolia and Suez, the day after the decision of the board of directors of Engie to sell its shares in Suez despite the opposition of the State. He was answering a question from Socialist Party MP Valérie Rabault, who described the "shame" of the State's "minority position" at the board meeting as "shameful". SOUNDBITE
