Health minister insists Spain is ‘safe destination’ after travel restrictions

Palamós, Spain, Aug 1 (EFE).- Spain’s health minister insisted on Saturday the country is a “safe destination” for tourists after rising infections and renewed travel restrictions imposed by other nations.SOUNDBTIES OF HEALTH MINISTER OF SPAIN SALVADOR ILLA.Translations:"Measures must be complied with and if they're respected, Spain is a safe destination and Catalonia as well.""There's a very high percentage of outbreaks linked to nightlife. That's why measures had to be imposed, which I completely back.""We see many of the outbreaks are linked to nightlife and family gatherings in which we feel safe, comfortable, we're with our families, it's easy to relax."
