Loud chants of Black Lives Matter rang through the air in New York City on Sunday as thousands came out in protest againt police brutality and unjust killings of black males in the United States. Protests erupted across the US after two amateur videos emerged showing police fatally shooting two different black men in the span of 48 hours.
After the recent deaths of Michael Brown and Eric Garner, the demonstrators ask for police reforms including the banning of the choke hold and carried slogans including “Black Lives Matter”.
