Philippine city gives food coupons as part of COVID-19 relief effort

Pasig City, Apr 17 (EFE/EPA).- The local government of Pasig City in Metro Manila area on Friday distributed food coupons to its residents as part of a relief program for students and citizens affected by the coronavirus lockdown.Each Pasig City student is alloted 400-pesos (around $8) worth of coupons that can be used by a legitimate relative to purchase food in designated markets within the city.
