Accused of rape and sexual assault on four minor victims but suspected of hundreds more crimes, former surgeon Joël Le Scouarnec arrives in a police van at the cour d'assises in Saintes. The trial at the Assizes court in Charente-Maritime began on March 13 but was interrupted on the second day of the hearing by confinement due to the coronavirus crisis.
