Several impromptu animal shelters have opened in northern California to help people evacuated from areas affected by devastating wildfires to house their pets. Animal shelters at Napa Valley College and Crosswalk Community Church allow pets like cats and dogs to stay with their owners or in a separate room. It has already been called one of the deadliest wildfires in the history of the sunshine state.
