The United Auto Workers (UAW) chief calls on 7,000 more workers to join a historic strike against the top three US car manufacturers at noon on Friday. UAW President Shawn Fain calls on the workers at Ford and General Motors (GM) plants in Chigaco and Michigan to join the first ever strike at the "Big Three" Detroit automakers -- Ford, GM and Stellantis -- as the union pushes for improved conditions across the board. Earlier on Twitter, Elon Musk wrote "countries should not cede authority to WHO".
