Trump to visit California devastated by wildfires

Description

US President Donald Trump will travel to California to see first-hand the devastation wrought by unseasonal wildfires. The blazes across the West Coast have left at least 35 dead, with dozens more missing, and millions of acres burned.

Les otaries envahissent San Francisco #shorts

À Pier 39, à San Francisco, les « sea lions » attirent les touristes tous les ans. En mai 2024, un record de 15 ans vient d’être brisé, avec l’arrivée d’un millier d’otaries. Les otaries sont venues à San Francisco après un séisme en 1989 qui a provoqué leur migration. Elles ont été bien accueillies par la population et depuis, le Pier 39 veut absolument les garder et s’occuper d'elles ! Dépendant de la saison, il y a entre 300 et 700 otaries à Pier 39. Mais alors, comment expliquer les plus de 1000 individus que l’on peut voir cette année ? La réponse est simple : les anchois. En fait, il y a aussi une invasion d’anchois dans l’océan. Les otaries, malines, les ont suivi jusqu’à San Francisco. Malheureusement, ce spectacle ne va pas durer parce que les otaries vont bientôt continuer leur migration et on retombera à un nombre plutôt normal dans les prochaines semaines.
