Hundreds in Oakland remain demonstrating past 8pm curfew

Oakland, Jun 3 (EFE/EPA).-Hundreds of protesters in Oakland on Wednesday remained demonstrating past the 8 p.m. curfew. Earlier in the day, Golden State Warriors NBA stars Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson joined a march with other teammates such as Kevon Looney and Damion Lee in Oakland city in the San Francisco Bay area."No matter the color of your skin, how much money you got, your education, it don't matter. We're all human beings," said fellow Warriors player Juan Toscano-Anderson at the beginning of the march.Oakland has been the scene of the largest marches in the area during the past few days and is also where there have been more altercations with the police, however Wednesday’s protest was carried out peacefully.
