Thousands form human chain from Vilnius to Belarus in show of solidarity

Description

Thousands join a human chain stretching some 30 kilometres (19 miles) from the Lithuanian capital Vilnius to the border with Belarus. Three decades after their gesture of defiance against the Soviet Union, Baltic residents are once again linking arms in solidarity with protesters in Belarus. IMAGES
