Images of Berlin's Brandenburg Gate as cultural, leisure and hospitality sectors shut down

Images of the Brandenburg Gate as a new round of shutdowns for the cultural, leisure and food and drink sectors come into force in Berlin. To curb the spike in Germany, Chancellor Angela Merkel has ordered a round of shutdowns until the end of the month. Germans will not be confined to their homes, but bars, cafes and restaurants must close, as well as theatres, operas and cinemas. IMAGES
