The casino never loses, the big problems of the employees

Description

Las Vegas, Feb 22 (EFE).- It was 1976 when Frank Fertitta Jr., an Italian-American from Texas who began his career in the gaming industry as a dealer, fulfilled a childhood dream with the opening of a casino in Las Vegas that laid the foundation for an empire now valued at more than $5 billion.Statements from Geoconda Argüello-Kline, secretary-treasurer of the Nevada Culinary Workers Union: "With this protest, we want to send the message to the Fertitta family that we will not stop fighting for workers' rights. Palm employees voted and won by a landslide in 2018 and the company has refused to give them a contract. These employees are only fighting for security, insurance, a decent salary, everything a worker needs to offer their family the best."
