A shanty town in the north of Mayotte is demolished to make way for a high school, amid an operation to clear slums on the Indian Ocean island territory and expel illegal migrants, which has sparked clashes between local youth and security forces. The operation, called Operation Wuambushu ("Take Back" in the local language), aims to improve living conditions for Mayotte locals in France's poorest department, one of several French overseas territories that span the Caribbean to the Pacific. Managua, May 16 (EFE).- In recent years, Nicaraguan cocoa has established itself as some of the best in the world for making chocolate, and now the country is about to reach new heights with the establishment of a school where people will learn to make the "food of the gods."Privileged with cocoa of the Trinitarian species, sometimes Creole, the Nicaraguan beans stand out for their unique aroma and flavor.During a tasting exercise, the chocolate chef María José Tejero demonstrated how Nicaraguan cocoa allows the production of "divine" chocolate with no more ingredients than the seed itself.
