Palm Springs to pay $2.6 million for officer’s fatal shooting of U.S. Marine

Description

Two years after the fatal shooting of a U.S. Marine by bicycle police officers and the release of new documents revealing their responsibility in escalating the confrontation, the city of Palm Springs, California has agreed to pay around $2.6m to settle the lawsuit brought by the Marine’s family, the Desert Sun reported.
