A high school football player was killed while shielding three girls from gunfire in one of three gang-related shootings in Knoxville on Thursday.
A 17-year-old high school football player died on Monday morning in Washington state from injuries he suffered during a football game, King TV reported.
Authorities are at Apalachee High School in Winder, Georgia, after four people were killed and nine wounded in a shooting. Police have taken a suspect into custody. IMAGES
