Il ne doit pas non plus faire craindre une situation catastrophique. Les images d’une impressionnante éruption survenue dans le parc national de Yellowstone, le plus vaste parc des États-Unis, ont fait le tour des réseaux sociaux. L’éruption, survenue le mardi 23 juillet 2024, a projeté de la vapeur, de l’eau et des roches, provoquant la fuite précipitée des visiteurs qui se trouvaient à proximité. L’incident n’a fait aucun blessé, selon Associated Press. Le phénomène s’est produit à Biscuit Basin, un bassin naturel connu pour ses couleurs bleutées. Les vidéos de l’éruption dans ce bassin montrent les visiteurs en train de marcher tranquillement sur les ponts installés pour faciliter la promenade, lorsque l’éruption survient soudainement.
