Archaeologists believe they may have found the tomb of Saint Nicholas, the original Santa Claus, after discovering a temple and burial grounds below St Nicholas Church in Demre, located in Turkey's Antalya Province. Ground-penetrating radars at the St Nicholas Church revealed an additional temple below the current structure. The excavation process is now ongoing to find out whether the body of St Nicholas remains in the burial grounds.
A four-year-old boy who had been missing for nearly five days in a forest inhabited by bears, has been found alive. The child, named Dima Peskov, was discovered in a Siberian forest near the Ural Mountains. Little Dima survived by eating grass and drinking from puddles, but the dirty water and constant bites by mosquitos and other insects had taken their toll. He was on the verge of death when he was discovered.
