US efforts to cut ozone levels hindered by Chinese pollution, says study

Description

A study published in Nature Geoscience claims the U.S.’ effort to cut ozone levels have gone to waste due to pollution arriving on the west coast from China. Observations of the phenomena were made using satellites coupled with computer models of how air-borne molecules travel in the lower atmosphere.
