Around 7 p.m. on Friday, a gunman in his 20s approached a Shiite meeting hall in Saudi Arabia’s eastern province of Saihat and open fired at random. Four men and three women were shot dead, while another nine were injured. Police later intervened and opened fire on the gunman, killing him, reports Al Jazeera.
