The usually very touristic Trevi fountain in Rome has emptied as the country is under drastic measures to try and stop the spread of the virus. The authorities have just reopened the access of the fountain as there are very few people but might need to close it again in case of new crowds. IMAGES
Fountains around the world have thousands of dollars worth of wishes and dreams thrown into them. The Trevi fountain in Rome even rakes in over $1 million. However, the money goes to good causes.
After 17 months Rome's Trevi Fountain flows again, as rennovations sponsored by Fendi are finally complete. Rough Cut (No reporter narration).
