Christmas Market in Colmar, France

The Christmas market in Colmar, France is perhaps the nicest that we've ever seen in Europe. This was photographed in a previous year, before the covid pandemic. This year Christmas markets are closed, but this video at least gives us a chance to take a look, and look forward to next year. Colmar, in the French Alsace region is just a beautiful medieval town. The Christmas market here is one of the liveliest and most interesting. The market has ice skating, gift shops, crafts the kiosks and with beautiful canals running through town. You’ll see beautiful Christmas lighting, especially at twilight We’re going to show you in great detail how you can enjoy Colmar at Christmas time. It's located just east of Paris about three hours by high-speed train. The town is simply a perfect Christmas market, including Santa Claus, families with kids, and it's great for everyone. You're going to run into some music in the streets in Colmar in this festive season and you'll be sharing the town with many other people. The City Hall Square is one of the busiest spots with a lot of Christmas booths set up here. The main street runs through it lined with more shopping kiosks.
