Des archéologues européens ont analysé 3 000 os humains d’un site en Angleterre, montrant des traces d’un massacre d’une rare violence. Les scientifiques, menés par le professeur Rick Schulting de l’université d’Oxford, y analysent 3 000 os humains datant du début de l’âge du bronze, trouvés dans les années 1970 sur le site de Charterhouse Warren, en Angleterre. Ces restes appartiennent à 37 personnes : hommes, femmes et enfants confondus, ce qui laisse à penser qu’il s’agissait d’une communauté. Leurs restes ont été retrouvés dans un puits de 15 m de profondeur et il semblerait qu’ils y aient été jetés après leur mort.
