Renault revealed its new driverless concept vehicle called the EZ-GO at the Geneva International Motor Show on Tuesday. EZ-GO is a Level 4 driverless vehicle, so it can change lanes, turn at an intersection, and keep a safe distance from the vehicle in front of it. Users will be able to access the EZ-GO from an app or from fixed locations and will enter through a hatch which opens at the front of the vehicle, which also make the auto wheelchair accessible. The EZ-GO can accomodate up to 6 people at a time and features a U-shaped seating arrangement, making the ride a social experience.
Hundreds of Corvette-owners revved their engines along the Ocean City boardwalk in Maryland on Saturday, for the 30th annual Corvette Weekend, a charity event and Corvette parade of around 700 Corvettes. Brand new Corvettes revved up beside classics in a parade that welcomes Corvettes from all generations. However, Corvette Weekend was bitter sweet because the parade also marks the end of the driving season for many Corvette enthusiasts, especially for owners of rare old models too sensitive for the winter cold. Hosted by the Free State Corvette Club, a club of Corvette enthusiasts, Corvette Weekend includes car a show, rally and a parade down the city Boardwalk as a fundraiser for four different charities, including Spina Bifida, United Service Organizations, Change Inc, and the Therapeutic Recreational Riding Center. One Pokemon Go enthusiast smashed into a police car as he was looking down at his mobile phone and and trying to catch Pokemon while driving. Footage captured on an officer's bodycam released by the Baltimore Police Department shows the moment when the young driver collided with a parked police cruiser. Luckily, all three officers were outside of the car at that time and were not injured in the crash.
