French farmers are at the gates of the Rungis wholesale market, under the close surveillance of police who has set up a roadblock by the entrance. Tractors continued to block the A6 motorway at Chilly-Mazarin, some ten kilometres (6 miles) from Rungis wholesale food market, Paris' key food supply hub. Farmers union Coordination Rurale who had called for the blockade, now sent out the directive to go "towards the National Assembly" in Paris instead. IMAGES
