Portugal gatecrashed France's Euro 2016 party to win the European Championship for the first time in its history and all this without leading star Cristiano Ronaldo. A super strike by substitute Edér was the difference between the two teams, who both hit the hit woodwork during the match. "They managed to achieve without Cristiano Ronaldo, proving to other teams that one or two great players do not win a trophy, but that a proud, inspired team, with a nation behind it, is what it takes to win the most coveted trophy in European football."
07/07/16 : France played against Germany for the last semifinal of Euro 2016. Thanks to Griezmann, the Blues won the game and can now join Portugal for the last step of the competition. It is an historical match since France has not won against Germany since a few years.
16th June : England played against Wales in Lens. Both teams made a great match. The Welch manage their effort facing the young English team. The last ones finally scored a second time at the very end of the game. Hence, England both win the game and got first of its groupe.
06/07/16 : Portugal played against Wales in Lyon for the first semi final of the competition. Cristiano Ronaldo and Nani scored during the first half and made the Seleção win the game. Next step : the final against France or the 2014 World Cup Wining Team, Germany.
The Blues won the first match of the European competition by defeating Romania two goals to one. The game really started during the second-half in which both teams had opportunities to score. Dimitri Payet offered France a victory at the very end of the match (89’).
