The Fiat 500's retro looks have ensured the car has found thousands of homes in the UK, and now Fiat has updated the popular city car. It's got slightly tweaked styling inside and out, more choices of colour and trim and the same range of petrol and diesel engines as before. The United States announces a fresh tranche of arms to bolster Ukraine's mounting counteroffensive against Russian forces, including armored vehicles, precision munitions and mine-clearing equipment. The United States will deploy 1,500 additional troops to the border with Mexico, the Pentagon says, ahead of an expected surge of migrants when Covid-era restrictions are lifted next week. "For 90 days, these 1,500 military personnel, who will be sourced from the active duty component, will fill critical capability gaps, such as ground-based detection and monitoring, data entry, and warehouse support," spokesman Brigadier General Pat Ryder tells reporters during a press conference. Beatriz Flamini, a Spanish elite athlete, finally finds open air after spending 500 days isolated in a cave, with no direct contact with the outside world or natural light. Flamini has been 70 metres below ground in the cave in Los Gauchos, near Motril, since November 2021, left with books, artificial light and cameras to record her experience but no phone or timekeeping instruments, and food provided by a team who left it in a spot in the cave where they would have no contact.
