Ford has its own model family for this: it's called the Tourneo and it now has a new member - the latest generation of the compact Tourneo Courier. The new Tourneo Courier rolls off the assembly line at Ford Otosan's Craiova plant in Romania. Ford also builds the Puma, its current bestseller in Europe, in the state-of-the-art facility. The E-Tourneo Courier, a purely electrically powered and therefore locally emission-free version, will soon follow. It will be available to order later this year.

The company is investing $50 billion globally through 2026 to achieve a targeted run rate of more than 2 million all-electric vehicles by the end of that year.The all-electric model will arrive in 2024 for customers across Europe. It follows the EcoBoost petrol‑engined Tourneo Courier 1 that opens for order this summer, with initial deliveries before the end of 2023.
