Against the backdrop of autumn colours, the full range of current production Huracán models traveled the Apennine roads from Bologna to Forte dei Marmi: a celebratory drive of the V10 Lamborghini and the model that achieved such outstanding sales results. In its ten-year lifecycle, sales to date have exceeded 25,000 units: a result destined to increase with 2024 production, already fully allocated. As defined by the Lamborghini Cor Tauri strategy, Huracán will later be replaced by a hybrid super sports car.The journey began with the guests driving the super sports cars to reach Palazzo di Varignana where they enjoyed a dinner on the Royal Train, in the same carriage sent by King Umberto II of Savoy to his future bride Maria Josè of Belgium, on which she joined him at Turin and crossed Italy together during their honeymoon.The following day, the route through Castel del Rio and the Giogo pass brought the convoy to Villa Campestri, where the extra virgin olive oil tasting briefly interrupted the pleasure of driving, which resumed in the afternoon towards Forte dei Marmi.The dinner at Villa Alpebella, currently owned by the Bocelli family who have just completed its restoration, was the most exclusive moment of the tour, welcomed by Maestro Andrea Bocelli, his wife Veronica and his son Matteo.The following morning, the visit to the Valsora white marble quarry and the stop at the Taverna dello Scoiattolo within the Cioccorally route, continued to underline the perfect combination that combines the uniqueness of the V10 Lamborghini with the special tour experience, which ended in Sant'Agata Bolognese after crossing the Abetone pass.
For the first time since its dynamic launch, the Lamborghini Huracán Tecnica set out to showcase the different souls it carries within. The winding and scenic roads of Sardinia were the perfect setting to prove both its performance orientation as well as its fun-to-drive character enjoyed by everyone who takes its wheel.Starting and finishing point of this Lamborghini Lifestyle Experience was the Lamborghini Lounge in Porto Cervo, situated within the marina. For the fourth year in a row, the temporary lounge had opened its doors for over two months for customers to explore the brand, including appointments with a specialist to discover the exclusive configuration opportunities that the Lamborghini Ad Personam program offers to clients of the Italian super sports car manufacturer. Ad Personam has constantly expanded the seemingly endless personalization possibilities and its success is confirmed by a steady growing customer demand.The Huracán Tecnica, however, wasn’t the sole star on the Sardinian roads: it was accompanied by its sibling, the even more track and performance-oriented Huracán STO. The typically colorful specifications of the Tecnica and STO didn’t only leave behind delighted passers-by, but also created opportunities for memorable photo and video productions on the Italian island.
The Huracán STO, a road-legal super sports car developed with the know-how of Lamborghini’s Motorsport team Squadra Corse, could finally be presented where it feels home: on the racetrack.After its digital premiere in November last year, also the test drives had to be postponed due to the COVID-19 restrictions. Now it was time to finally put its qualities to the test both on and around the Circuit in Vallelunga, near Rome.The feedback on the Huracán STO was positive all-around. The naturally aspirated V10, the overall setup of the super sports car and the Bridgestone Potenza Race specifically developed for this car have a clear focus: absolute performance and emotions for the driver.It comes as no surprise that one year of production for the Huracán STO has already been sold out - before the opportunity to test-drive it.
Automobili Lamborghini reveals the new Huracán EVO Rear-Wheel Drive Spyder virtually, using for the first time Augmented Reality (AR) on its official website. The new V10 model provides drivers with an open-air celebration of lightweight engineering, with rear-wheel drive and a specially tuned Performance Traction Control System (P-TCS). Roof up or down, daily driving and high-performance fun are accompanied by the inimitable sound of the V10 aspirated power plant, delivering the same 610 hp (449 kW) and 560 Nm of torque as the coupé version. With a 0-100 km/h acceleration of just 3,5 seconds and a top speed of 324 km/h, like its coupé stablemate the Spyder is an instinctive driver’s car, delivering a fun-to-drive experience via hardware rather than software.The Huracán EVO RWD Spyder’s design optimizes the integration and function of the extremely lightweight soft top. The Spyder is a true Lamborghini with roof open and closed, sporting inimitable lines from every profile that confirm it is as dynamic in both looks and performance whether roof on or off. The Spyder’s exterior lines ensure drag reduction and downforce matches that of the coupé without requiring additional aerodynamic appendages, while enhancing the rear-wheel drive car’s balance and dynamism with roof both up and down.
Starting from Automobili Lamborghini’s historic headquarters in Sant’Agata Bolognese, the Lamborghini Christmas Drive 2019 headed towards the destination of Brunico and the Plan de Corones, with the full range of Lamborghini models in convoy: Aventador SVJ, Huracán Evo, and Urus.The experiential journey aboard ten Lamborghinis wound along the challenging and scenic mountain roads of the Alto Adige region up to the top of Plan de Corones, at 2275 meters altitude. Amidst the snow-covered landscapes of the Dolomites, a Huracán EVO dominates the scene.
