A car loaded with gas canisters has rammed into a police van on the Champs-Elysees avenue in Paris, leaving the driver dead in what the interior minister is calling an "attempted attack". A car burst into flames after it crashed into a police van on the Champs-Elysees avenue in Paris, police and investigators say, adding that the driver was armed and it appeared to be a "deliberate" act.
